Turn what you find in a client's cloud into work you can sell

Spotto surfaces the billable work hidden across a client's cloud, every pillar of the Well-Architected Framework. Now it turns each finding into a tracked PSA ticket, a scoped Statement of Work, and a client-ready report, so what you find becomes work you can sell.

Surfacing what's hidden in a client's cloud has always been Spotto's job, the optimization, security and modernization work that's billable but easy to miss. But a finding is only the start. Each one is a real improvement waiting in the client's cloud, more secure, more reliable, better optimized, and that value stays locked up until it makes it out of the tool and gets delivered. That's the step Spotto now takes: turning each finding into work your team can track, sell, and show, so the client ends up with a cloud they can trust and less risk to carry, while the work that gets them there becomes revenue you can see, instead of a finding nobody got to.

MSPs rarely lack work worth doing, they lack the time to turn what they find into something a client will say yes to. In a lot of MSPs, finding the work is already a daily manual grind: engineers logging into a dozen Azure blades, cross-checking spreadsheets and tickets to see whether a peer already caught it. But the harder stall comes next. A finding has to be scoped, costed, and explained in terms the client can actually weigh, and done by hand, for every recommendation, most never make it. The ticket sits for weeks, the client can't see why it matters, and the work nobody got to quietly ages out. And at the other end of the month, proving what was done is its own grind, spend, posture, and "what did we actually deliver" pulled together by hand for every client review.

Spotto removes that manual assembly, with the operator in the driver's seat: you decide what to take forward onto a board your team works from, and the platform does the busywork at each step, pushing it to your PSA to track, scoping it as a proposal, and showing the client the value.

    Who it's for

    • Account leads and owners walk into a client conversation with scoped, priced work already drafted, instead of a vague "we should look at your cloud."
    • Engineers turn a recommendation into a tracked PSA ticket in the system they already use, with the context and affected resources carried across rather than re-keyed.
    • Service delivery managers give a client a clear monthly picture of the value being delivered, without assembling it by hand from half a dozen sources.
    • Founders running the P&L get a repeatable path from a finding in a client's cloud to a billable piece of work.

Surface it: find the billable work hiding in Azure

Before anything can be sold, it has to be found. Spotto scans a client's Azure environment across every pillar of the Well-Architected Framework, cost, security, reliability, performance, and operational excellence, and surfaces the billable work that's easy to miss. It's deterministic, not guesswork: Spotto pattern-matches each finding, ranks it by impact, and attaches the evidence and an effort estimate, with guidance kept current from Microsoft's own checklists and the wider community.

And it's not only the obvious fixes. Spotto looks for the proactive, higher-value work too, reserved-instance and savings-plan commitments worth acting on before they renew or expire, spend drifting toward a budget breach, certificates and service principals about to lapse, and cost anomalies the moment they surface. Every one is a finding with the evidence behind it, ready to become work you can take to the client.

Track it: push to your PSA

Share a recommendation to your PSA and it becomes a service ticket where your team already plans and tracks work. Spotto connects to ConnectWise, Jira, or Halo, one provider per company, and the ticket carries the recommendation context and affected resources, so the first response isn't "what am I looking at?". For MSPs with a parent-child structure, routing can be centralized at the parent with per-client overrides. Spotto reads ticket status back so you can see where work stands; your PSA stays the system of record for delivery.

Scope and price it: the Statement of Work

On the board, the work groups into swim lanes, cost, security and reliability, and so on, and Spotto turns a lane, or a single item, into a scoped, priced Statement of Work without the day of manual work it usually takes. Each deliverable carries its validation signal and an effort band, and the fee is built from those hours, so the proposal is costed, not guessed, whether the work is optimization, design, security, reliability or modernization.

Every line item links back to the underlying recommendation, so the client can see exactly why each piece of work is on the proposal, with the evidence behind it. It's a more credible, faster proposal than a hand-built document, and it means a less-senior engineer can produce a SOW a senior architect would once have had to write.

Show it: the client report, and the next conversation

For a services MSP, the monthly client review is where the hours go: pulling spend, posture, and "what did we actually do this month" together by hand, from half a dozen places, for every client. Spotto produces that report for you, the service delivery report many MSPs use as their QBR, assembled in minutes, not the better part of a day.

It pairs a historic view, spend and secure-score trends, savings captured, the work performed in the period, with a forward view: the recommended next actions and the larger projects worth scoping next. That forward view is the engine. Every report surfaces the next services opportunity, sized, evidenced, ready to scope, so the document that proves last month's value also opens next month's SOW. It spans cost, security, reliability, performance, and operations, built from Spotto's own analysis of the client's cloud, so the client sees their own environment getting measurably better: risk coming down, posture going up, spend under control, and the work you've done on their behalf made legible.

The base report is live now. A richer version is coming, with deeper forward-looking guidance on the next projects worth tackling.

One workflow: cloud operations in, revenue intelligence out

Put together, it's one motion with the busywork stripped out of every step: surface the work hidden in a client's cloud, push it to the PSA where your team plans and tracks it, scope it into a SOW the client can say yes to, and show them the value in the monthly client report.

Think of it as a senior cloud architect working across your whole book, turning what's hidden in a client's environment into the optimization, design, security and modernization projects clients are glad to pay for. It's the senior hire you can't justify, and the reason your best people stay on the strategic, billable work instead of hunting for it.

It's built for the MSP that's already performing well and wants to go further, the mindset Umbrellar, one of the MSPs we work most closely with, puts simply: "How do we do this even better?"

    What's available in Spotto today

PSA ticketing (ConnectWise, Jira, or Halo), the SOW generator, and the base client report are available now for managed Azure estates. Existing customers will find them in the portal; your Spotto contact can walk through them across your own client book.

Your client book is a growth engine

New logos grow the business, but the biggest pipeline is the book you already manage. The growth is already there; you just haven't had the time to find it or the capacity to service it. That's what Spotto changes, the work surfaces itself, and the same monthly review that proves this month's value surfaces next month's project. Every cycle, your clients' clouds get better and your services book gets bigger, and every new client you bring on plugs into the same engine from day one.
