Why Spotto

We exist so the people behind the tech matter more than ever.

Behind every cloud that just works, there's a team. The people who see what's coming, and carry the margin, the growth, and what comes next. We're building Spotto for them.

    Our manifesto

We bet on the people behind the tech.

Behind every cloud practice is a team carrying the complexity, the risk, and the responsibility for what comes next.

And behind that team are the people who see it first. The ones who spot the pattern as it forms. Who see the opportunity before it's on a roadmap. Who know the cloud isn't just something to maintain. It's a way for clients to move faster, spend smarter, and get ahead.

We built Spotto because we believe exceptional cloud people are the scarce resource. Not infrastructure. Not data. Not tools. Expertise.

The future belongs to the practices that can scale that expertise across every client they support. Not by replacing it. By amplifying it. By helping teams spot opportunities sooner, uncover risks earlier, and turn insight into action across an entire portfolio.

Because the best operators don't win by doing more. They win by helping more clients benefit from their best thinking.

This is for the people who see what's next. Who take the tangled thing and make it look obvious. Who were always going to lead what's next.

    We built this for you.

    Own what's next.

    The people building it

Built by people who know this from the inside

Spotto was built by people who lived the problem before they solved it. They didn't just operate an MSP, they built one and sold it. They know the stretch, the bench, and the hidden work, because they carried it themselves.

    Shaun Webber

    Shaun Webber

    Co-founder & CEO

Shaun spent over a decade helping build and scale Parallo across New Zealand and Australia, through to its acquisition by rhipe in 2020. He lived the structural problem at the heart of every MSP: the work that genuinely grows the business stays buried inside client environments the team is too stretched to review. With 25+ years in and around MSPs, his career is rooted in customer obsession and the discipline of a profitable services business.

    Symon Thurlow

    Symon Thurlow

    Co-founder & CRO

Symon co-founded Parallo, a leading Azure-focused cloud services business across New Zealand and Australia, and led it as CEO for over a decade, through to its acquisition by rhipe in 2020. He went on to lead Cloud Services APAC at Crayon. With 25+ years in cloud and managed services, he started Spotto to close the gap he watched cost MSPs every day: the value sitting unseen in every client environment.

    Jay Strydom

    Jay Strydom

    Co-founder & CTO

Jay owns the architecture and build of Spotto's platform, turning the founders' lived MSP experience into product. He's founded, built and sold software companies of his own, and has worked as a software architect for publicly listed companies. A Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert with 20+ years building and scaling cloud products, Jay was previously a Cloud Solutions Architect at Parallo and Manager of Architecture and Solutions at Bank of New Zealand.

    What we're building

A platform that surfaces the work hiding in every client's cloud.

Spotto puts a senior architect's eye on every client at once, the risk worth fixing and the work worth doing, across your whole portfolio, with the means to act on it. The hard part was always seeing it. We made it the easy part.

    Who it's for

The operators looking after the world's cloud, and the teams who see what others miss.

So their practice grows, their clients rely on them more, and the team gets the room to do their best work. And their clients get growth they can feel: a cloud that's quietly looked after, risks caught before they bite, and a business free to grow without limits.
